Innovations to reduce the ecological impact of the marine sector

 

BoatOn stands out for its commitment to innovating for a greener future in the maritime sector. In June 2024, we launched a number of initiatives in partnership withADEME (Agence de l'environnement et de la maîtrise de l'énergie) as part of the Environmental Transition programme. The aim of this programme is to help businesses adopt more sustainable practices.

 

Our flagship product, BoatOn Book, revolutionises boat management with an automatic, connected logbook. By recording data such as fuel consumption, speed and routes, the BoatOn Book enables our customers to monitor their carbon footprint and optimise their journeys. Thanks to this software, yachtsmen and professionals can improve their eco-driving and reduce their fuel consumption, with an average saving of 15% per journey.

 

 

Training and support: helping our customers make the transition

 

BoatOn doesn't just provide tools, we also offer a training programme to support professionals in the maritime sector in their ecological transition. In collaboration withADEME, we offer state-funded training courses covering key topics such as decarbonisation, good maintenance practices and personnel management in sensitive environments.

 

In 2024, we also launched an innovative crew management module to simplify administrative procedures for professionals and ensure that management complies with international standards. This enables our customers to reduce their ecological footprint while optimising their operational efficiency.
